About

The ROADS (Rovers Observation and Discoveries in Space) program offers students hands-on experiences exploring STEM concepts based on real-life NASA missions. Teams who complete the challenges and submit their results are entered into a drawing to win a trip to Kennedy Space Center. In May of 2024, three Montana Teams won the trip.

Northwest Earth & Space Science Pathways (NESSP), based at Central Washington University, developed the program with a NASA grant.

Montana Hub Event

MSU Academic Technology and Outreach is hosting a ROADS (Rovers, Observation, and Drone Survey) Hub event on May 20, 2025. Teams from around Montana will converge at Montana State University to share their ROADS projects.

ROADS 2024-2025
