Collaboration Classrooms
MSU has seven collaboration rooms on campus, each with unique functionality to meet the needs of our instructors and learners. In addition, in any collaboration room, classes can split into smaller groups that can project content onto displays for group work.
Romney 211 Collaboration Classroom
The technology in this classroom, including five Sharelinks, allows instructors and students to cast their devices to any of the four wall screens. With four projectors and ten tables, the Romney Collaboration Room is best suited for large-group work or whole-class activities that require different content to be displayed around the room.Romney TEAL Classrooms
With six or seven tables and six or seven TV displays, the Romney Technology Enhanced
Active Learning (TEAL) rooms contain a smart podium with a classroom PC, an HDMI laptop
connection, a document camera and a touchpad display panel. Each TV display has Sharelink, so instructors and students can cast their devices to any of them.
Cheever TEAL Classroom
The Cheever Technology Enhanced Active Learning (TEAL) room has seven tables and seven TV displays, two projectors, a camera and microphones at each table. Students at each table can connect their laptops to the corresponding TVs using hardware connections built into the tables. The instructor can present content from the podium or individual tables on the projectors. The technology allows instructors to record their classes.
