Many ways to participate!

Kids activityAnybody can participate in UTRAC immediately by engaging in some the activities posted on this website. The activities can be implemented in both formal and informal learning environments and are geared towards the Next Generation Science Standards. We have tested the activities with youth from elementary through middle school, however they were created with for youth in grades 3-5. 

Students or members of the public can also monitor climate data for various purposes from school work, to agricultural needs, to pure curiosity. The interactive data map currently has a limited number of climate stations and functionality, but it will soon have more of both.

Students can also participate in UTRAC activities at the MSU Peaks and Potentials Camp and the MSU Explore Camp for Earth and Space Science.
