Final Presentations 2015-16

February 2016

Here are the presentations created and shared by the teams on their final visit to MSU on February 13, 2016. Presentations consisted of live reports using PowerPoint and other tools, or videos that the teams produced.

For the final project the teams conducted experiments based on the three modules they learned about throughout the year. Some teams concentrated on one module, while other teams designed experiments that incorporated all three modules. Creativity was encouraged!

Final Presentations 2014-15

March 2015

Here are the presentations created and shared by theteams during the final hangouts, March 24 and 26, 2015. Three teams created videos, while the other teams presented live via Hangouts On Air using slideshows.

For this final project, youth had two options. One options was to develop a presentation to share with others in their community that highlighted what BioScience Montana was all about, and what they learned. The second option was to take one of their earlier experiments to a higher level and expand on the results they obtained. Creativity was encouraged!

Science Module Presentations 2014-15

January 2015

Watch the presentations the 4-H'ers shared at the on-campus weekend at MSU on January 16, 2015. Some of the presentations were live, in-person, while others had prepared video presentations ahead of time to show the group.

Youth were asked to prepare a 10-15 minute presenation that summarized what they had learned in the BioScience Montana program thus far, making sure to touch on each of the science modules. Teams were encouraged to be creative -- and they were!

Team Homunculus Masks Movie 2014-15

Here's a video montage of the homunculus masks made by the BioScience Montana youth for the neuroscience module this past fall. We got to see some of the masks in-person at the January meeting at MSU in Bozeman. And, we learned a lot more from Dr. Miller and what he concluded from the data!
