Turnitin helps students check their work for originality and receive instructor feedback. In Canvas, it is integrated within assignments, allowing students to submit work, review Similarity Reports, and view comments.

To access Turnitin feedback, instructors must first enable Turnitin for an assignment, and a submission must be made. Instructor settings determine when and how feedback is available in Turnitin Feedback Studio.

Turnitin Tutorials

Turnitin provides student-specific tutorials on submitting assignments, viewing Similarity Reports, and understanding feedback within Canvas. Access these resources through the Turnitin Student Tutorials website.

If you need further assistance, you can submit a request through Turnitin’s Submit a Request page or contact university support at Canvas@montana.edu.

Turnitin Access Agreement

The first time students use Turnitin in Canvas, they must accept the Turnitin User Agreement before accessing feedback and reports.
