Dear Colleagues,

For your information, we received the following update from the Montana University System Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education (OCHE) regarding the selection of Canvas as the system-wide Learning Management System (LMS).

Three individuals from our campus accepted invitations from OCHE to serve on the state-wide LMS Implementation Advisory Committee. I express my gratitude to Rob Maher, Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Steve Swinford, Vice President of Student Success, and Ryan Knudsen, Vice President of University Information Technology for their dedication to serve on this undertaking as we plan and prepare the implementation of a new LMS, which will need to be fully integrated on our campus by Fall 2025.
