The eight credit spring/early summer program consists of just three courses: an instructional classroom course, an externship preparation course, and a clinical externship with certification exam preparation course. The clinical externship portion includes a block of 100 intensive hours at a local clinic or hospital.

Successful Phlebotomy students will be prepared to take the Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) exam, which will enable graduates to enter a promising phlebotomy career or pursue further healthcare education.
