Everest Education Expedition
In 2012, MSU geologist Dave Lageson and graduate student Travis Corthouts accompanied famed mountaineer Conrad Anker on an expedition to Mount Everest. This site contains lesson plans, classroom activities, educational videos, beautiful photography and other resources that help you bring the expedition to life in your classroom. Even though the team safely returned to Montana several years ago, these resources are still current, useful and free!
Climate In My Backyard (CLIMB)
Climate in My Backyard (CLIMB) is an educational outreach program serving K-12 schools, informal educators and citizens with information about environmental science and Montana's climate and environmental science. The site features free downloadable lesson plans, educational fact sheets and infographics, multimedia resources and links to other valuable sites.
